Opera Mini Now Available in 13 new Indian Languages

Opera Mini which was the first browser optimized for mobile devices. Opera Mini was available on English language only for Indian peoples. But it have got lots of new languages in a latest update, which includes 13 new Indian languages.

Mobile Browser have included Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu it a latest update. Population wise India is the second largest country of the world. India also have rapidly increasing smart phone users. But most of the Indian population is not fluent in English language.

In hope for increasing it’s market share the Mobile Browser have added new languages to target non English mobile users. This new update would help Opera Mini to target and acquire ‎a new user base from different continents of India.

This update have been rolled out in both iOS and Android versions of the browser. New users could install the app from Apple iTune store for iOS devices and Google’s PlayStore for Android devices.

Existing users would get a notification on their mobile for a language change after an automatic update. The new update have also included some new features to the browser including a QR code reader. Users could now open a URL in Opera Mini Browser by Scanning the link from a QR code directly from the mobile browser.
