Honda is going to launch a new SUV vehicle BR-V at Delhi Auto Expo. The Delhi Auto Expo is going to start from February 5th, 2015 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. The auto manufacturer was showcased this vehicle last year at Thailand Motor Show.
With huge popularity and demand of compact SUV vehicles in between Indian car buyers, Honda have also decided to introduce a new crossover SUV vehicle in market. This car is based upon Honda Mobilio design and would compete against already existing Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta, Maruti S-Cross and Nissan Terrano in Indian car market.
Honda CR-V is expected to be launch in price bracket of ₹9-13 lakhs and is going to launch in 7 seater variant. The 7 seater sitting arrangement also makes the vehicle ahead from it’s counter parts, which are available only with 5 seater option.
The Sport vehicle would be available with all the safety features with Dual Airbags and ABS as a standard feature across all variants of the vehicle. Including these basic safety features even in base variants of BR-V is a good decision from Honda for people safety.
More safety features like Hill Start Assist and Vehicle Stability Assist would be included in higher priced variants of the vehicle. Honda BR-V would be available in both Diesel and Patrol Engine options. Honda would use same engine in BR-V which is currently being used in Honda Mobilio and City.
